KIU HELD A LECTURE ON ANTI-CORRUPTION ISSUES

On February 19, 2020, a lecture on the theme “the role of the family in the formation of anti-corruption culture”was held at the Karaganda industrial university as part of the school of integrity’s action plan.

The purpose of the lecture: to reveal to students the cognitive content of the role of traditional education in the formation of legal knowledge and knowledge, the role of the family in the formation of anti-corruption culture.

The lecture was attended by students of the first and second years of the university in the specialties «metallurgy», «mechanical engineering», «сonstruction», «technology of metal processing by pressure», «technology of pharmaceutical production».

Soltan Magira Soltanovna, a lecturer of   department of «HK, SHD and Ph», spoke to the participants of the event about how important the family plays in educating the personality of teenagers and young people. And the fact that the basis of intolerance to corruption should be laid in the family.

Questions asked by students at the lecture showed their keen interest in the topic under discussion. Such events undoubtedly have a great educational effect and are aimed at improving the legal literacy of students.

Prevention of corruption, education of the future generation in the spirit of Kazakhstan patriotism and non-acceptance of corruption is the main priority of our university. After all, since early childhood, a person needs to instill love for the Motherland, respect for others and traditions, the desire for knowledge and work, decency and honesty. Based on this, the process of upbringing and education is the basis for the formation of an anti-corruption culture of the individual, in which the main role is undoubtedly assigned to the family and the education sector. After all, every parent, every teacher should be a worthy example for young people, and help them choose the true values.
