On January 14, 2020, in order to increase the legal tax and financial literacy of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as students of economic specialties, a seminar was held at the Karaganda State Industrial University on the topic “On taxes in simple language: Taxes 2020”, at which innovations in the Tax were explained the code of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2020.

The speaker of the event was Dmitry Kazantsev, co-founder and director of the Republican Center for Entrepreneurship Assistance, president of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Accountants.

During the workshop, the main changes in VAT were considered; changes in ESF, virtual warehouse; new ad tax; all fines associated with the cash register and cash discipline; statistical reporting and other.

The seminar brought together a huge number of entrepreneurs and accountants, teachers and students of economic disciplines, of which some had already been asked specific questions, while others came by the principle “there is never too much knowledge”.

Summing up the event, I would like to note that the complex clerical language of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan has repeatedly caused fines for our entrepreneurs. Dmitry Kazantsev helps to avoid this and understand tax innovations for business with his free seminars “On Simple Taxes”.
