On December 12, 2019, in order to recognize crisis and pre-suicidal States in young people, as well as changes in behaviour, to identify groups of suicidal risk, a round table was organized on the prevention of suicidal behaviour in the youth student environment.

During the event, psychologist N. Bnyatova considered the issues of crisis situations among students, suicidal behaviours in the student environment and possible types of suicide. In addition, the specialist shared practical experience of suicide prevention, told about indicators of suicidal behaviour, necessary actions in case of detection of certain markers in students and where to go.

Prevention of suicide among young people is an urgent and significant problem in the modern world, as according to statistics in recent years the number of suicides among adolescents has increased significantly. Summarizing the results of the round table, the moderator noted:

“Man is a very strong being! A person is able to overcome all the hardships of life that can fall on him! The most important thing is to always try to find a way out, and do everything possible and even more! And also that there are still people in the world who are ready to help in a difficult moment…»
