On December 25, summing up the results of  2019, which was declared the year of youth, the leadership of the city of Temirtau solemnly held a ceremony of awarding the Akim’s award “Zhasstar” to young people who actively participated in the social life of our city.

In 2019, applications for participation in the youth competition were submitted by 30 citizens, from which the Commission selected the four best nominees. The winners of the “Zhasstar” award received 100 thousand tenge.

Galym Ashimov personally handed over letters of gratitude to all participants of the event for their contribution to the socio-economic development of Temirtau and active participation in public life.

A letter of gratitude from the akim of Temirtau for active participation in the events held within the year of youth and socio – political life of the city was awarded to the master’s student of KSIU speciality “Economics” Podgurskaya Tatyana Olegovna.

Also, a valuable prize was awarded to the Karaganda state industrial university, which on a permanent basis takes an active part in the education of young people, because the younger generation is the future of our society and proper moral education of young people is one of the most important tasks, not only for the state authorities, but also for our university.
