18 October 2019 students and teachers of karaganda state industrial university, participated in the Teleconference Lecture on the topic: “the Use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVS) for solving problems of mining-geological industry,” the organizers of which was the inter-University Academic Center navigation specialties in Geology at the State geological Museum. V. I. Vernadsky RAS with the support of the Academy of mining sciences.

The format of the meeting was a structured process of communication, enriched by the knowledge of the participants of the meeting, including students of higher and secondary special educational institutions, representatives of the leading raw materials companies of Russia, Kazakhstan and CIS countries.

 The meeting was opened with  the head of the “Inter-University Academic Center Navigation Specialties in Geology”, Deputy development Director at SGM RAS, doctor of technical Sciences, Professor V. Titova Assiya Vladimirovna.

The opening speech was made by Yuri Malyshev, President of the Academy of mining Sciences, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The lecture for students of higher and secondary special educational institutions of Russia and CIS countries was conducted by the Director Of the state geological Museum. Vernadsky RAS, PhD – Cherkasov Sergey Vladimirovich.

The event was held in the framework of educational activities Intercollegiate Academic Center navigation specialties in Geology, which is the communication platform for continuous development of the education system students in the field of Geology and nature management, as well as the 260th anniversary of the State geological Museum named after V. I. Vernadsky RAS (SGM RAS).
