In order to attract students to regular physical education and sports, as well as health promotion, and improvement of physical and sports fitness of students from 13 to 15 February 2019 on the platform of the Karaganda state industrial University was held a workshop on ” the formation of a culture of health and prevention of addictive behavior among students.”

At the workshop, topical problems of preserving the health of students of professional educational organizations, issues of AIDS prevention in the youth environment, modern approaches to the formation of a culture of health of the younger generation with the participation of specialists were considered.

The workshop was attended by the teaching staff of the university, the director of educational work and youth policy of KSIU, the teacher-psychologist of the fuel and energy complex, the leaders of student assets and the volunteer club “Kamkor”.

Within the framework of the workshop, training sessions and a round table for teachers were held and organized.

Within the framework of the program of healthy lifestyle, prevention of socially significant diseases, promotion of mass physical culture and sports activities of students at the university, such events are held on a regular basis.
