After a bright victory in the final of the CSM Championship of the Irtysh League in Pavlodar, the CSM KSIU team received an official invitation from the President of the International Union of CSM Alexander Maslyakov to take part in the 30th jubilee festival of CSM teams “Sochi-2019”, which will be held in Sochi from 12 to 25 January 2019.

Yesterday, a solemn ceremony of seeing off our team was held at the Hotel Steele in which Deputy Mayor of the city Yesimkhanov D.Zh., secretary of the city maslikhat A. Lomakin, and deputy regional maslikhat S. Bramontova, chairman of the Nur Otan branch took part. “JSC Arcelor Mittal Temirtau” Alpysbayev A.Zh., chairman of the regional branch of the youth wing “Zhas Otan” N. Zhetpisbayev, head of the department of culture and language development of the city of Temirtau Shakenov A.K.

In their parting words, the participants noted that a great responsibility is imposed on the CSM team, because for the first time in the 10-year history of the CSM movement of the region, the Karaganda (in our case, Temirtau) team had the right to participate in the CSM International Festival. It should be noted that our team is the only team that received a ticket to the Festival from all Kazakhstan teams. One thing is that the team of the KSIU team represents the city of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – it is a great honor for the guys.

On the eve of the festival, our guys persistently rehearsed, the city administration helped with this financially, since the participation of the team in the International Festival in Sochi is a very expensive business. Our team was strengthened by the best players of other Temirtau teams, so we can safely say that Temirtau sent the best players to the Festival.

According to CSR players themselves, the last night before the flight, they practically didn’t sleep, anxiety and anxiety affected. As the captain of the team noted, the 3rd year student of the KSIU Hegay Sergey, they are most worried about the high responsibility to represent at the Sochi Festival Alma mater of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the city of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students of our university, members of the CSM team Kim Vyacheslav and Nakupova Darina, thanked the leadership of KSIU for their continued support for the development of CSR movement in the university. Today, the Magnitka Open CSM League operates on the basis of the KSIU, uniting the strongest teams of CSM Temirtau and the region.

Founder of CSM movement in Temirtau Lomakin A.B. noted the high level of our CSM university teams. The second team of CSM KSIU “Ironborn”, consisting of students of 1 and 2 courses, essentially new to CSM, in December 2018 brilliantly beat 14 teams of CSM and reached the semifinal of the regional CSM tour. Ahead of them is also waiting for the Irtysh League of CSM of Pavlodar. Who knows, maybe they, too, will repeat the beautiful game of their senior comrades – members of the CSM team “Gianluigi Magnitoffon” and get the right to play on the stage of the International Sochi Festival!
