On December 5, KSIU held a regular meeting of 1-3 year students of KSIU with representatives of the center for the prevention and control of AIDS and other infectious diseases, as well as representatives of the epidemiological surveillance department of the public health department of Temirtau.

The lecture devoted to the World Day to Combat AIDS and healthy lifestyles for university students was read by the teacher – psychologist of the AIDS center Starozhukova Elena Borisovna and the chief specialist of the epidemiological supervision department of the public health department Rasovskaya Daria Evgenienva.

The main objective of the event was to attract the attention of students to the problem of HIV / AIDS, change their attitude to this problem and develop a value attitude to their health, since the urgency of the problem of HIV / AIDS lies in the fact that the spread of this epidemic affects all spheres of society and concerns everyone from U.S. Indeed, in our time, AIDS is one of the global problems of all mankind.

In the opinion of our students, the meeting was informative and useful, such events help them to orient themselves in the problems of the real world.

At the end of the meeting, the doctors noted the importance of holding such events with the students of our university, thanked the leadership of the university for organizing these meetings, distributed information booklets and reminded the students of the address of the AIDS Center and the Temirtau Consultative and Diagnostic Skin-Venereological Department where anonymous screening for viruses and infections.

In addition, the Temirtau City AIDS Center organized a mobile mobile laboratory on the KSIU platform, where everyone could take anonymous express testing for HIV / AIDS in 5 minutes.
