Student of “TTTT-15” Viktor Stepanov took two second and one third places in the Rowing and Canoe Rowing Championship held in Almaty on May 2-6.

Athletes from Almaty, Shymkent, Astana, Uralsk and other cities of Kazakhstan took part in the championship. Victor  Stepanov – “silver” in a single canoe for 200 meters and a canoe deuce for 500 meters, as well as “bronze” in a canoe deuce for 200 meters. Victor’s partner for almost three years is his coach Vladimir Petrov.

Canoe kayak student KSIU has been engaged for more than nine years. He says that every competition for him is a test of his abilities.

– Each time the contention in the competition increases, because you grow and develop not only yourself, but also rivals, – says a third year student.

According to the results of the past competitions Viktor Stepanov will take part in the World Youth Championship until the age of 23, which will be held in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv from 24 to 29 July.
