TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC COLLEGE AT KSIU
Technical and economic College (TEK) is a structural division of the RSE at the Karaganda state industrial University and carries out its activities in the system of continuing education College-UNIVERSITY.
TEK at KSIU has been implementing technical and vocational education programs since September 2016 and is a modern, dynamically developing College that operates on the basis of state General education standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and meets the highest requirements for technical and professional educational institutions.
In accordance with the state license, the College carries out educational activities in 9 specialties:
there are two economic specialties
- 0515000 “Management” – qualification: Manager,
- 0518000 “Accounting and audit” – qualification: economist-accountant
and 7 technical specialties:
- 0907000 “Technical equipment and systems of a heat supply” — qualification: technician — heating engineer,
- 0911000 “Technical operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and Electromechanical equipment” – qualification: electrician,
- 1201000 “Maintenance, repair and operation of motor transport” – qualification: mechanic technician,
- 1002000 “Ferrous metals metallurgy” – qualification: technician-Metallurgist,
- 1304000 “Computer engineering and software training” – qualification: programmer technician,
- 1401000 “Construction and operation of buildings and structures” – qualification: construction technician,
- 1112000 “Operation of industrial machinery and equipment” – qualification: mechanic technician.

The College is taught in grades 9 and 11, with state and Russian languages, full-time and part-time education.
The educational institution has all the conditions and a certain material and technical base for extracurricular work with students.
In order to ensure the principle of accessibility of technical and vocational education for certain categories and segments of the population, social support is provided to students in the form of discounts on tuition fees and grants for training.
Students of the College use the library, reading room, computer classes, educational laboratories and sports and recreation complex of the University.
After graduating from College, students have the opportunity to enroll in related specialties at the Karaganda state industrial University and other Universities in a reduced form-2.5 years for full-time and distance learning.
