The Department participates in competitions Of ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan to receive grants and state budget funding for the implementation of fundamental and applied scientific works.

The personnel potential allows us to actively develop research work, scientific and practical relations with leading economic and research institutes, Universities, and enterprises.
The staff of the Department actively participates in scientific and technical conferences with the involvement of students and undergraduates who use the results of research performed in reports and reports.

Faculty of the Department carries out creative cooperation with JSC “ArcelorMittal Temirtau”, small and medium-sized businesses.
Increasing the level of professional training of specialists, the development of creative initiative is closely related to the formation of the scientific worldview of students. The following forms of research were developed:

  • participation in the implementation of the state budget form of research;
  • participation in the implementation of contractual research;
  • participation in the competition for the best scientific work of students;
  • participation in subject Olympiads, competitions of term papers and theses, etc.
  • When performing theses and master’s theses, students demonstrate the ability to apply analysis methods in economic calculations, using the main provisions of the theory of management and marketing.

    The subject of theses and master’s theses covers a range of issues related to the activities of an economist, Manager, Normalizer, logistician and has the following areas:
    Analysis and reserves for improving the efficiency of ferrous metal production.

    1. Reserves for reducing material and fuel and energy costs in metallurgical production.
    2. Analysis and ways to improve labor efficiency in metallurgical production.
    3. Reserves for improving the financial stability of enterprises.
    4. Analysis of financial and economic activities of enterprises.
    5. Improving the organization of customer service using the principles of logistics.

    The topics of most of the theses fully reflect the scientific focus of the Department of Economics. A number of theses and master’s theses are aimed at research in the field of foreign economic activity of the company, in the field of marketing and management, financial stability of economic entities using logistics. The vast majority of theses correspond to the subject of scientific works of teachers of the Department.
