GREAT VICTORY

A student of the technical and economic college at KSIU, Bazarbekova Venera took  the1st place in the regional competition “Korkem Aruy-2018”, a student of the group CTOS-17 Atakulova Zemfira became the owner of a special prize and a participant’s diploma.

On March 14, 12 finalists competed for the crown of the Palace of Culture of the Miners for the crown of the most beautiful girl of the Karaganda region, our university in this competition was represented by two girls: Bazarbekova Venera- a student of the technical and economic college at KSIU and Atakulova Zemfira, CTOS-17 student. On March 5, these girls won the university competition “Miss KSIU”.

The competition  consisted of 4 stages: business card, defile in  the evening dresses, creative competition “Minute talent” and homework “Astanaga Tartu”, at this stage the contestants were made by different techniques work.

Bazarbekova Venera presented to the jury an unusual gift: an owl performed by herself on a 3D printer in the laboratory of our university’s 3D engineering. The entire manufacturing process was filmed on camera, which precluded the possibility of any forgery. Why an owl? As Venera answered, it was the owl  because that an owl is the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, and she decided to give the owl from the many thousands of students of the Alma Mater of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The audience and the jury were surprised that Venera masterfully owns the technique of printing on a 3D printer and her gift caused applause. In addition, to the jury, she presented her creative number – a masterly performed dance. A truly talented person is talented in everything, therefore the 1st place in the contest was expected.

The second representative of our university Atakulova Zemfira surprised and captivated spectators and fans with an unusual creative number, demonstrating the wonders of yoga and unusual plastics. Her dance with a living snake, a strong press of her belly, which withstood a sharp knife, and lying on the broken glass also caused a flurry of applause. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Astana, she presented a picture with the views of our capital, made in the folk style – applique from felt, also made by own hands. Zemfira explained that our great-grandmothers owned this art in the distant past, this amazing style of folk art was undeservedly forgotten.

Performances of our students were bright and creative. The girls are warmly thankful to everyone who helped them in the preparation for the contest: groupmates, friends, parents, special expressions of gratitude they express to the trade union of students of  KSIU, which provided the necessary sponsorship.

A group of fans made their contribution in support of our beauties, in the role of which the students of the 1st course of the TMPP-17K-4 group led by the deputy dean of the faculty of  ETSC Zhanabergenova Dinara Kenesovna.

A single information hour on fighting corruption was held at KIU

On March 14, Kazakhstan held a single information hour on fighting corruption. More than two hundred students of Karaganda Industrial University took part in the action.

In order to form an anti-corruption culture in the society at 11.00 on the time of Astana, an information hour was held at the university on the theme ” 20th anniversary of the formation of the law against corruption”. M. Salpenova, Director of the Department for Educational Work and Youth Policy of KIU, and M. Soltan, the lecturer of the Department of “HK and SHD”, informed the audience about the importance of preventing and combating corruption. After that, students of first course Maksat Turimov, Aknur Khishat and Miramgul Abdulova, who recently won the university essay contest “We are against corruption,” came forward with their work.

The students expressed their opinions on the effectiveness of measures taken to combat corruption, noted the importance of measures taken to prevent corruption, suggested starting such preventive work from the kindergarten, and introducing to the corrupt officials tougher measures of responsibility. There were opinions that every Kazakh should begin, first of all, with himself. If you do not under any circumstances take and do not give bribes, then in the course of time this harmful phenomenon will be eradicated in society.

Start is given!

The long tradition of holding the Spartakiad among teachers and employees of the   KSIU  has been resumed after a short break. In the evening of March 13 in the sports building of the University competitions began on four types – asyks, darts, table tennis and raising weights.

Judging is provided by teachers of the physical education section of KSIU. On March 14, the participants will show their skills during the checkers and chess competitions. On the same day, football teams will meet on the field. March 15 in the program of the Spartakiad – volleyball and Togyz-Kumalak.

– The Spartakiada will end on March 16 – participants are waiting for the relay and tug of war, – says the chief judge of the competition Raisa Kolesnikova. – On the same day, summing up the results in the team and individual competitions for all sports and awarding the winners will take place.

A film about the working days of policemen demonstrated to the students of KSIU

Karaganda State Industrial University was visited by the head of the personnel department of the Temirtau ATC, the police captain Berik Bektasov. He told the students about the difficulties and joys that are undoubtedly present in the difficult and responsible work of the guards of order.

Nobody left indifferent film about everyday life of police officers, shot on the basis of real history. With the help of a swirling plot, the guards of the order hope to get to know the youth more closely with the nuances of uneasy but noble work that makes our daily routine safe, even though it often carries risks for the lives of policemen.

In addition, Berik Bektasov told the students about the conditions for admission to departmental higher educational institutions – the Almaty and Karaganda academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Karaganda, Kostanai and Aktyubinsk legal institutes where one can get a second higher education.

Awarding of the university employees

On the eve of the International Women’s Day, the best representatives of the university were honored at KSIU.

The vice-rector for scientific work and international relations of KSIU A. A. Aikeyeva was awarded the medal “Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. Honorary diplomas of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan were handed to the director of the human resources department R. O. Onlanbekova and the professor of the department “Chemical technology and ecology” B. Kh. Isanova.

A letter of thanks of the Minister of Education and Science of the RK was awarded to the specialist of the Department of Science, Innovation and International Cooperation R.K. Jaslan; Honorary diplomas of the trade union of educational workers of Karaganda region – engineer of TS, Civil Defense and Emergencies A. Seysemkhan, Inspector of Human Resources Department A. V. Firsova, teacher of the Department of Kazakh, Russian and Foreign Languages ​​D. Zh. Ybray.
