DEAR YOUNG SCIENTISTS!

National innovation research center «Bilim-orkenieti» announces the start of accepting documents for the second edition of the book collection of young scientists «BEST YOUNG SCIENTIST-2020» within the framework of the Republican project «Best teacher» in support of young scientists of the country!

We invite to the competition PhD students, undergraduates, senior teachers, teachers, young specialists of educational institutions!

Condition of competition: Contestants must submit an autobiography of no more than 2 pages (14 size, Times New Roman) (in the third person); (14 points, Times New Roman) (third person); copies of achievements for the last 3 years (diploma, certificate, letter of commendation, certificates of honor); a list of scientific papers and a copy of one scientific article, as well as a drawing in 3\4 format, high-quality photos of the workflow 6 pieces.

Documents must be sent to the following email address uzdik2019@mail.ru until October 15, 2020. Entries are accepted in one of 3 languages (Kazakh, Russian, English). The application must specify the address of residence (in case of no-show at the final conference, the Republican book collection, diploma, badge, certificates, certificates will be sent to the specified address). The book collection includes biographies and photos of Teachers of higher education institutions and colleges of the Republic.

Inclusion in the collection is carried out on a competitive basis. Participants of the project will be awarded a color book collection with young scientists «BEST YOUNG SCIENTIST-2020», a badge «BEST YOUNG SCIENTIST-2020», a certificate, a Republican diploma of the I, II, III degree, a letter of thanks to scientific supervisors. The presentation and award ceremony of the collection will take place in the Form of a conference in October 2020 in Nur-Sultan, in the house of Ministries. Young scientists included in the collection are invited to the presentation of the book. The program of the final conference will be sent to selected young scientists in October. During the conference, badges from the hands of famous personalities of our country will be awarded!

Today, the anti-corruption Agency presented the “integrity hour” in a new format.

This “Hour of integrity” was distinguished by the fact that it revealed a new personality for the Kazakh youth, a contemporary and successful young leader – Renat Bekturov.

Renat Bekturov was born on October 13, 1984 in Almaty region. Member of The Board of Astana International Exchange.

He worked for 10 years in the financial services industry. Participated in a number of landmark transactions in the debt capital market, such as the first issue of sukuk (Islamic equities) in the CIS region.

Renat holds a master’s degree in banking and Finance with honours from the University of Leicester, and also a certified financial analyst (CFA Charter Holder) degree.

He took first place in the Presidential youth personnel reserve.

1. Bekturov in his speech, quoting the great Abai, said: «Integrity is a combination of human qualities, such as intelligence and kindness, perseverance, modesty and work. »

He also called on young people to work hard, develop and be Patriotic. In his opinion, the secret sauce of success is luck, but the main ingredient is work.

He shared his life values, such as fairness and honesty, which allowed him to achieve success in his personal life and career.

During the video lecture, the audience learned which school teacher had the greatest influence on him, what is the key to success for young people, what qualities, in his opinion, define an intellectual nation.

As you know, the main goal of the “Hour of integrity” campaign is to form an anti – corruption culture among the younger generation and instill the most important moral values: honesty, justice, decency and trust.

On September 21 and 29, 2020, representatives of «KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA» met with students of the 3rd and 4th year majors in «automation and management» and « electric power engineering » at Karaganda industrial University.

«KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA» is a leading company in the integrated automation market and the only distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation in Kazakhstan, Global Manufacturer of Electrical Equipment and the only Toshiba Electric Industrial Systems Corporation’s authorized service center in the CIS. The company provides modern solutions in the field of automation in various fields, including operational engineering, automation of GOKs, water utilities, pumping stations, etc.  The company has got own training center, where students of the «automation and management» and « electric power engineering » majors can pass industrial practice and get skills to work on real equipment.

During their speech, representatives of «KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA» told about the main activities of the company plans for its development, career prospects, giving specific examples of how people who came to work in the company a few years ago have grown to the level of Department heads.

Both meetings with students were held in a friendly and lively atmosphere. KarIU’s students actively asked questions about practical training and subsequent work at «KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA». During the event, students filled out questionnaires for further interviews with company specialists and getting up-to-date information about available vacancies.

After completing both meetings, students were able to take the company’s booklets for a detailed introduction to the areas of activity and advantages of «KAZPROM AVTOMATIKA».

Social policy of Karaganda industrial University this includes support for vulnerable segments of the population, therefore, social work at our University is closely linked to activities in the field of social support for students.

Entering or studying at KarIU, a student of a paid department can apply for a discount, and also get the opportunity to study on a vacant educational grant, released during the process of obtaining higher and (or) postgraduate education on the basis of an intermediate certification. Discounts and scholarships are available for both 1 semester and the entire period of study.

Social support for KarIU students also includes the following:

• scholarship support for students;

• material support for socially vulnerable categories of students (orphans, disabled people, children from low-income families, student families, etc.);

• provision of benefits for payment for the use of social infrastructure facilities of the University;

• support of students and graduates in the process of adaptation to the labor market;

• stimulating student extracurricular activities etc.

The new academic year 2020 – 2021 is no exception. According to the decision of the academic Council of September 25, 2020 and regulations on the University’s educational grant University scholarships and benefits for studying at Karaganda state industrial University from 26.10.2018 year three students of our University were awarded the KarIU educational grant, three students were awarded a scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thirty-four students received benefits in the form of a 30% discount on tuition fees at the technical and economic college for the 2020-2021 academic year at the expense of extra-budgetary funds of the University.

The social policy implemented at Karaganda industrial University once again shows that assistance to representatives of socially vulnerable categories is and remains a priority.
