KARAGANDA INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TOOK PART IN TELE-BRIDGE LECTURES ON THE TOPIC: «GEO-ECOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF GEOTHERMAL ENERGY»
On October 20, 2020, students of academic groups PSIF-19, ASI-19 and HEIHCS-19s of Karaganda Industrial University took active part in the tele-bridge – lectures on «Gynecological aspects of geothermal energy».
The lecture for the participants of the teleconference was conducted by the Director of the state geological Museum. Vernadsky Russian Academy of Sciences, PhD – Sergey V. Cherkasov.
The event was organized by inter-University academic center navigation specialties in Geology at the State Geological Museum. V. I. Vernadsky RAS with the support of the Academy of mining Sciences of the Russian Federation.
The format of the meeting was a structured communication process, enriched by the knowledge of the meeting participants, including students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, representatives of leading raw materials companies in Russia, Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.
It should be noted that one of the priorities of inter-University academic center navigation specialties in Geology in the framework of the educational activities is the implementation of the Project to develop a communication platform for development of continuous education system of children and youth in the field of Geology and environmental Sciences, education, environmental Outlook and guidance for the degree in mining, geological and oil and gas profile. As part of the implementation of this direction, the Center regularly conducts online broadcasts of lectures and master classes on the premises of its own professional video conferencing Studio, equipped with the most modern equipment.
During the teleconference, participants were able to get a lot of new, interesting and useful information for future professional development.
After the lecture, all participants of the teleconference had a unique opportunity to ask the scientist their questions and get comprehensive answers to them.
Summing up the results of the teleconference, all participants of the meeting noted the usefulness and fruitfulness of such contacts aimed at expanding and strengthening the common information space.
