On october 17, students of Karaganda industrial university met with a representative of the Amanat party in Temirtau. Speakers of the meeting: executive secretary of the branch of the Amanat party in Temirtau Azhikov N. H., rector of Karaganda industrial university Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich and vice-rector of KarIU Sivyakova Galina Aleksandrovna.
During the meeting, teachers and students discussed the implementation of the message of the president of the republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In Karaganda industrial university, the department of general education disciplines held a contest of patriotic essays and dictation on the topic «Atameken» and «Kazakhstan of my dreams» on october 12-13 dedicated to the Republic day.
The purpose of the contest is to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, to form patriotic consciousness and character, to increase spiritual and civic feelings and respect for the history of the country.
In addition, self-made creative works were written in the essay contest, reflecting the author’s vision and expectations about the future of Kazakhstan and his participation in shaping this future.
The competition was held among kazakh and russian speaking students studying in 1-4 courses.
More than 100 students took part in the competition, the content of the dictation was in the state and russian languages. The content of the dictation contest was prepared in the state and russian languages, 100 students took part in it. Senior teachers of the department Kapasheva Zh. K. and Myrzakhanova A. T., organizing a patriotic dictation contest, held the event in a special format. At the beginning of the dictation, patriotic music was listened to, the competition was held in compliance with all the requirements for conducting dictation on a specially designed form after conducting a blitz survey for students.
According to the results of the competition, a specially created commission will determine the 3 best works and award the winners with special diplomas of the head of the university, rector B. S. Abdrasilov, the presentation of gifts will take place at a festive event dedicated to the Republic day.
On october 14 Kazakhstan and the entire world scientific and technical community celebrates the World Standards Day, emphasizing the strategic value of this activity for the state, economy and society, recognizing the contribution of thousands of specialists to its development.
In 2022 The World Standards Day is celebrated under the motto: «A common vision of a better world», which focuses on the main development priorities – rational use of resources, energy conservation, modern technologies for the functioning of large cities, industrial enterprises and infrastructure facilities. These are areas where the application of standards has become an integral part of the life cycle processes – from idea and design to reengineering and recycling.
On October 14, 2022, in honor of the World Standards Day, students of the educational program «Standardization, metrology and certification» and teachers of the department «Metal processing by pressure» took part in the open day for students of universities, colleges and teaching staff held by the Karaganda branch of the RSE «Kazakhstan institute of standardization and metrology» (KazStandart), under the universal world motto ISO: «Cooperation for good».
Within the framework of this event, there was a speech by experts in the field of standardization and employees of JSC «National center for expertise and certification» (NaTSeX), as well as a discussion of issues in the field of national and international standardization, the role of Kazakhstan in these processes.

From october 12 to 15 the ministry of science and higher education of the republic of Kazakhstan launched a patriotic dictation contest on the theme “»Atameken», dedicated to the Republic day, and an essay contest on the topic «Kazakhstan of my dreams».
The main purpose of this event is aimed at the development of civic consciousness of young people, education of their responsibility for the fate of the country and its future. It will be held in two stages, the acceptance of works will last until october 15.
Students, undergraduates and youth public organizations are invited to participate in the competition.
Self-made creative works reflecting the author’s vision and expectations regarding the future of Kazakhstan and his participation in the formation of this future are sent to the essay contest.
The entries are accepted in kazakh, russian or english.
Awarding of the winners of the first stage of the competition among university students will take place on october 19. The winners of the competition will be presented with memorable gifts on behalf of the rector.
The VI Central Asian international forum on quality assurance in education «Transnational interaction in the global educational space», organized by the independent accreditation and rating agency, was held in Almaty on the basis of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of the forum, Karaganda industrial university was awarded the «Quality star» badge of this agency for the best academic achievements and commitment to research based on the results of the Eurasian University Ranking. The forum was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Germany, USA, India, Turkey, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries.
Karaganda industrial university is one of the leading educational institutions in Kazakhstan for the training of engineering and technical personnel for the mining, metallurgical, chemical, energy, machine-building, transport, construction and economic sectors. Currently, we train specialists in the educational programs of twenty-five bachelor’s degrees, twenty-three master’s degrees, and five doctoral degrees. The university is a modern educational institution covering the country’s only industrial site in the metallurgical industry.
It has a scientific laboratory base, 60 specialized laboratories, including laboratories of nanotechnology engineering profile. The university closely cooperates with Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, China, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and non-CIS countries. Every year the number of graduates entering our university increases.
This year we have about a thousand students enrolled. Within the framework of the «Serpin» program there are many graduates coming from the southern and western regions. Our university has a developed scientific and technical base. Graduates entering the university are interested in technologies of pharmaceutical production, construction, economics and information security.
All conditions have been created for the students of our university. The university is fully equipped with new technical devices. In addition, for the city of Temirtau, the university is not only an industrial, but also a leading modern university. Lomakin Alexey Borisovich, Secretary of the maslikhat of Temirtau, is in close contact with university activists.
At the end of the meeting Lomakin Alexey Barisovich congratulated the rector of the University Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich with the award «Quality star» and wished further success.
