At the end of 2020, the Karaganda Industrial University was awarded a letter of thanks by the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Karaganda region of the year for its active work in the field of combating corruption offenses.

During 2020, our university held a large range of activities aimed at creating an atmosphere of intolerance to any manifestations of corruption and the formation of an anti-corruption culture, anti-corruption model of behavior in student youth.

We also note that KarIU actively cooperates on an ongoing basis with the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency in the Karaganda region within the framework of compliance with the principles of integrity and transparency, and all the activities of our university are based on these principles.

On a systematic basis, members of the section of the information and propaganda service of the student club «Sanaly Urpak», members of the working group on anti-corruption policy of KarIU conduct lectures and online meetings with students and teachers of the university. The Integrity School organizes online webinars, interactive sessions, lectures, and curatorial hours.

Today, KarIU, as the flagship of higher education and science, makes a great contribution to the education of the young generation, for whom decency, justice, honesty, legality, professionalism are the main life guidelines. Developing the principles of integrity, Kazakhstani society makes its attitude towards manifestations of corruption intolerant and forms an anti-corruption movement of a new formation, in which the main role is assigned to young and young Kazakhstanis. Karaganda Industrial University also works in this direction. The civic position of students and teaching staff put a barrier to manifestations of corruption within the walls of our university.

Today, a traditional online lesson of integrity on the topic “The Moral heritage of Saken” was held, dedicated to the spiritual and moral heritage of Saken Seifullin, whose life and work are imbued with the principles of justice and honesty.

Saken Seifullin is a statesman and politician, poet and writer, one of the founders of modern Kazakh literature. he belongs to the galaxy of kazakh figures who gave their lives for the revival and prosperity of the kazakh nation.

One of the distinctive qualities of Saken Seifullin’s all-round personality is his dedication to the education and science of the younger generation. During his presidency of the Council of People’s Commissars, he was the first to initiate the idea of providing scholarships to young students, noting that ” Kazakh youth should study in the best educational institutions in the world.”

He considered it his duty to do everything possible to help the younger generation. “if you do not help in your studies, in your work, in your creativity, the fate of the next generation will be on your conscience,” these words show his high level of intelligence.

The main idea of his poetry is the knowledge of the value and loyalty of friendship. The poet, who deeply valued true friendship, praises honesty and writes about friendship as a human treasure.

The personality of S. Seifullin occupies a special place in the promotion of patriotism and love for his Homeland, the ability to overcome any difficulties to achieve the goal.

On November 26, 2020, the Institute of Economics, Finance and Business of Bashkir State University hosted the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Schoolchildren, Students, undergraduates and Postgraduates “Beginning in Science”.
