From 13 to 16 November 2018, Karaganda state industrial University hosts the annual XI Presidential Olympiad in the subjects of natural and mathematical cycle among students of 11 classes of schools of our country, organized by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Traditionally, over the past 9 years, this Olympiad has been held at the University, Alma mater оf the first President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev. On November 13, the opening ceremony of the Olympiad was held, which was attended by Honored guests-colleagues of the President of Kazakhstan.

The main idea of the annual Olympiad, held on the personal instructions of the Head of state, is the identification and support of gifted children-strong, intelligent, highly educated Kazakh students, education of their Patriotic spirit, as well as in – depth study of natural and mathematical Sciences.

Goals and objectives of the Presidential Olympiad:

1) creation of optimal conditions for the identification of gifted students in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology among students of secondary education, their further intellectual development and professional orientation;

2) increasing the interest of students in the study of subjects of natural and mathematical direction, the deepening of theoretical knowledge and skills;

3) promoting self-realization and self-development of the individual.

The presidential Olympiad is held annually in three stages:

1) first stage – regional-till November 1;

2) second stage – selection, is carried out in 2 rounds:

Round 1 – remote-until November 15;

Round 2-creative, essay writing (no more than 1 page, 45 minutes) on the day of the remote tour;

3) the third (final) stage – Republican

In total, 2461 graduates from 1427 schools (557 specialized, 602 rural schools) took part in the regional stage. Kazakh language students – 1511. According to the results of the 1st round, 407 students from 294 secondary schools (211

specialized, 80 rural schools) were admitted to the next round. Kazakh language students – 213.

Each participant of the Presidential Olympiad at all stages performs tasks in four subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.

All finalists of the Presidential Olympiad will receive certificates of participation, and the winners will be awarded with diplomas of MES.

October 7, 2018, in the Palace of culture named after Yestay, in Pavlodar, was the semifinal of the regional League CMS “Irtysh”, where the team CMS VN team KGIU” dzhanluigi magnitoffon “took 1st place and reached the final of the Irtysh League, which is the fifth year officially included in the international Union CMS “AMIK”.

CMS was so fascinating, interesting and bright that each joke, each miniature was met with a storm of applause of the Pavlodar audience.

The jury appreciated the youth creativity and the following winning places were distributed among the teams of CMS ” Such different “team KIDSTV, Karaganda city-2nd and 3rd place – “Safari” Astana city.

Our team showed very good results, and we sincerely wish the guys further success in the game, creative success, more fervent and good jokes, and that creativity is not exhausted.

Олимпиада, проводимая в рамках мероприятий Дня Первого Президента, традиционно проходила в Карагандинском государственном индустриальном университете, выпускником которого является Первый Президент РК Нурсултан Абишевич Назарбаев.

Город Темиртау, реализовавший мечты многих молодых людей, превративший легенду в реальность, радушно встретил участников олимпиады, съехавшихся из различных уголков нашей страны.

Президентская олимпиада по предметам естественно-математического цикла проводится в стране с 2008 года по личному поручению Главы государства и на последних протяжении четырех лет она проходит в стенах Карагандинского государственного индустриального университета.

Идея олимпиады – в воспитании высокообразованных казахстанских школьников и углубленном изучении естественно-математических наук.

Основными целями и задачами Президентской олимпиады являются:

1) создание оптимальных условий для выявления одаренных школьников, их дальнейшего интеллектуального развития и профессиональной ориентации;

2) реализация идеи непрерывного образования путем подготовки одаренных школьников для продолжения обучения в ведущих отечественных высших учебных заведениях;

3) повышение интереса учащихся к изучению предметов естественно-математического направления, углубление теоретических знаний и практических умений.

В нынешней олимпиаде приняли участие около 170 участников. Каждый из них предварительно прошел дистанционный отбор не только в своей школе, но и в своём регионе. Теперь участникам предстояло доказать свои знания по 4-ём предметам и на уровне республики.

«На первом этапе в ней участвовало 2040 детей, на втором этапе-дистанционный был тур в режиме онлайн все ребята решали задачи по 4 предметам, потом писали эссе и вот сегодня в Темиртау приехали 165 победителей вот этого 2-го дистанционного тура», – сообщила директор Республиканского научно-практического центра «Дарын» Министерства образования и науки РК Шолпан Кирабаева.

26 ноября прошла торжественная церемония закрытия олимпиады. Перед участниками мероприятия с приветственными речами выступили аким города Темиртау Ашимов Галым Абиханович, ректор Карагандинского государственного индустриального университета Ибатов Марат Кенесович.

В этом году наибольшее количество призовых мест получили школьники из Павлодарской области и города Алматы. Победителей олимпиады, получивших золотые медали, награждали ректор КГИУ Ибатов М.К. и директор РНПЦ «Дарын» Кирабаева Ш.А.

Победители и призёры президентской олимпиады получат преимущественное право на получение образовательного гранта в ВУЗах республики.

Победители и призеры Президентской олимпиады прошлых лет в настоящее время обучаются в ведущих отечественных и зарубежных вузах.

27 ноября в Астане с победителями Президентской олимпиады встретился министр образования и науки РК Аслан Саринжипов. Встреча, как и сама олимпиада, приурочена к празднованию Дня Первого Президента и Дня Независимости Республики Казахстан.
