On November 18, 2022, the teachers of the “Energy” section held an intellectual quiz “Own game” with the participation of students of the educational program 6B07105 “Power supply of industrial facilities”. Students of groups PSIF-19, PSIF -19k, PSIF -20, PSIF -20k, PSIF -21s took part in the quiz.
The main process in a quiz is answering questions. The questions are formulated in the form of statements, where the search word is replaced by a pronoun. Players must guess what the question is about and answer. The questions of the quiz were compiled according to the previously studied disciplines of the educational program. Among the questions of the quiz was the category “Questions from teachers”. The students were divided into three teams. According to the results of the game, the participants were awarded memorable prizes.
“Own Game” is a great way for students to test their knowledge of the studied disciplines.
All teachers of the department “Energy” actively participated in the organization of the methodological week.
Within the framework of the methodical week of the Department of Energy, Transport and Control Systems on November 18, 2022 by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of “Technological machinery and transport” Ashkeyev Zhasulan conducted an open lesson on “Full factor experiment” for students of educational programs 6B07107 “Process equipment industry” and 6B07110 “Hoisting, construction and road vehicles” to study the basics of experimental research. During the open class students got acquainted with the full factorial experiment, which is the main method for scientific research, and gained skills for research works in the design of machines and technological processes. The obtained knowledge will help students in the future in the performance of diploma and term papers.
The purpose of the methodological week is to increase the level of methodological competence of teachers and improve their professional skills in order to increase the level of knowledge of students, as well as the effective use of digital educational resources in the learning process.
Within the framework of this week, the Department of Energy held two educational events.
On November 17, 2022, the master, senior lecturer of the department Kamarova Saule Nurtazaevna held a master class on the topic “Independent work as the main form of the educational process in a technical university using the Fishbone technology”.
The Fishbone diagram is a graphical representation that allows you to visually demonstrate the causes of specific events, phenomena, problems identified in the analysis process and the corresponding conclusions or results of the discussion.
The Fishbone project method is currently one of the most popular pedagogical technologies, which forms the ability to comfortably adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of life in modern society.
By creating and developing key competencies in engineering areas, contributing to the formation of engineering mobility, project-based learning is one of the promising technologies in the study of disciplines at a technical university.
On 17.11.2022y. within the framework of the methodological week of the “Faculty of Energy, Transport and Control Systems”, activists of the “Sanaly Urpak” club and students of the 1st year of the university held a discussion “On the harm and benefits of gadgets”. Two teams “Sanaly Urpak” and “Abadan” participated. The discussion was held in 3 rounds. Students from the audience also actively asked questions in the discussion.
The purpose of the event was to attract students’ attention to the rational use of gadgets, one of the applications of the latest information technologies in the world is the implementation of anti-corruption practices. The use of information technology tools is effective training and education. It is currently impossible to do without information technologies and, accordingly, gadgets, but also not to get carried away with their frequent use to the detriment of health.
