The anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Republican Project office «SANALYURPAQ»  and the research Institute «anti-corruption technologies» of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University announces an online competition on anti-corruption topics among school students, college students and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The goal of the contest is to create an environment of universal rejection of corruption through the education system

Conditions:

1. Materials for the contest are accepted online;
2. Materials are accepted in three languages-Kazakh, Russian, English (at your choice);

Special attention in the development Strategy of Karaganda State Industrial University for 2017-2021 is paid to improving the quality of educational services provided and improving the University’s management system.

As part of the implementation of the Strategy to introduce elements of the Fourth industrial revolution and digitalization of the economy, KSIU in cooperation with the Cisco Network Academy has become the base platform for the introduction of the latest digital technologies and training of new personnel with digital skills in the Karaganda region since 2018, which was awarded the status of the Cisco Academy. Today there is another good reason for joy: given the current development of society, the requirements for graduates of the modern labor market, the development and increasing spread of artificial intelligence technologies, the decision of the Supervisory Board of KSIU opens the Department of artificial intelligence technologies, which will train specialists in artificial intelligence technologies.

Artificial intelligence is a field of computer science that develops intelligent computer systems, that is, systems that have the capabilities that we traditionally associate with the human mind — language understanding, learning, reasoning, problem solving, and, most importantly, self-learning.

Training of specialists in the field of artificial intelligence is dictated by time and is relevant. In the foreseeable future, half of the current professions will be replaced by robots and artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for developing the competitiveness of modern specialists. In a rapidly changing world, it is very important to keep up with the development of trends in education and career.

Without a doubt, the Department of artificial intelligence technologies is a breakthrough in the implementation of the digitalization program in our legendary city of Temirtau.

Every year, thousands of educational grants are allocated to students in Kazakhstan. The educational grant provides not only for the possibility of free higher education, but also for the monthly payment of a student’s allowance, i.e. a scholarship.

In order to implement the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 23, 2008 № 58 «On approval of Rules awarding educational grants» according to the results of winter examination session of the 2019 – 2020 school year, according to the Ministry of Education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the eleven students of the Karaganda State Industrial University became the happy owners of vacant educational grants freed up in the process of obtaining higher education, previously trained on a paid basis.
