Gratitude always comes from the heart.

Once the Kazakh land became a home for representatives of different nationalities and remains so to this day.  Many Kazakh families keep and pass on to their descendants the memory of the difficult times of forced resettlement and repression.  The older generation of immigrants recalls with gratitude the warmth and deep compassion with which the fertile Kazakh land, which has become their home, received them.

The corresponding decree on the holiday was signed on January 14, 2016 at the XXII session of the ANC, where the First President of our country – Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev proposed annually celebrating March 1 as the Day of gratitude of all ethnic groups to each other and to the Kazakh people, who provided assistance in difficult times, showing mercy and accepting them as family.

The main goal of the holiday is to strengthen the unity of the people of Kazakhstan, to promote social harmony, charity, social solidarity and mutual support.

May the Day of Gratitude bring Kazakhstanis closer together!  We will be grateful to each other for good deeds and deeds!

Diderot’s statement“ People stop thinking when they stop reading? ”.  In their essays, the guys frankly expressed their thoughts and took pride of place in the competition.  This is Slesarenko Evgeniy, a student of the T-20 TEK group at KarIU, who took 3rd place, Onufreeva Daria, a student of the E-20 TEK group at KarIU, who took 3rd place in the competition.  Particularly noted was the work of Opar Ivan – a student of the E-20 TEK group at KarIU, who in verse form (32 lines) revealed the topic and expressed his attitude to this statement.  Opar Ivan took the first place in the essay competition “People stop thinking when they stop reading”.

Population degradation trend
As clear as day.
Limitations of rational thinking
The generation has cast a shadow.

The age of easy access to information has come
An age of uselessness in search of her.
Century of mass consumption
It led to negative consequences.

These consequences are unnatural.
My essence as such,
Ignoring those acquired
Who gave himself up to his creations in body and soul.

The view does not matter, be it paper
Or a set of zeros and ones,
The problem raised by Denis Diderot
Goes beyond the borders there.

Easy to acquire knowledge
From sound and picture combined.
Human error in formation
Calmness and resignation to fate.

There is no fire of development of fantasy
Ideas of those worlds
Where the author wanted to place us,
Having previously visited them myself.

The impotence of not one, but many
Closing a cluster of paths
Will not let you know all the thoughts of the swift
Create a whole from a thousand parts.

“People stop thinking,
When they stop reading. ”
And since the meaning of this phrase was clear,
You can choose the position yourself.

Opar Ivan

The traditional hour of integrity has passed in KarIU

From February 24, 2020, at the Karaganda Industrial University, the curators of student groups for 1-2 year students held a traditional monthly hour of integrity dedicated to the philosophy of justice of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov.

Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov is a follower of the classical Kazakh literature, founded by the great Abai. In his work, he reflected the topical issues of his time, describing the life of ordinary people in need of education.

Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov devoted his whole life to serving the Motherland and enlightenment: “My goal is to illuminate the path of my people,” he wrote in his works.

His poetry is a school of poetic skill, patriotism and citizenship. And the problems highlighted by the poet have not lost their relevance even today. According to the author, only justice can save people from «quarrels», «human tears» and «bloodshed». Justice is «the key to happiness and strength.»

The words of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov should serve as a guide for the growing student generation and will forever remain a testament.

The main purpose of the hour of integrity was also the fostering of an intolerant attitude towards corruption and the formation of an anti-corruption worldview among student youth. Indeed, as world experience shows, the most effective fight against corruption and its prevention is achieved where the role of society in regulation increases, transparency of decisions is ensured and a high anti-corruption culture is formed.

The Hour of Integrity was developed by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which on an ongoing basis carries out work aimed at promoting integrity in society.
