In Almaty, on the basis of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the VI Central Asian International Forum on Quality Assurance of Education “Transnational Interaction in the Global Educational Space” is being held, organized by the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (NAAR). Within the framework of the Forum, based on the results of the Eurasian University Ranking for outstanding academic achievements and commitment to research, Karaganda industrial university was awarded the “Quality Star” badge of this Agency. The forum was attended by minister of education and science of the republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, deputy of the senate of the parliament of the republic of Kazakhstan Zhumagulov B.T., Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Tuimebayev B.T. deputy chairman of the council of senators at the senate of the parliament of the republic of Kazakhstan Aitimova B.S., rectors of universities, representatives of government agencies, members of parliaments, international accreditation agencies, quality assurance networks of higher education education of Kazakhstan, Germany, USA, India, Turkey, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries. The independent accreditation and rating agency (NAAR) is a leading international accreditation agency for quality assurance of education, is included in the European Quality assurance register EQAR and is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ENQA Our university takes an active part in the NAAR rankings and holds leading positions in a number of specialties. KarIU has successfully passed the international specialized accreditation of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.
