The hour was held as part of the methodological week of the School of Integrity of KarIU
As part of the formation of a culture of integrity among the younger generation, the Department for Combating Corruption in the Akmola region from February 28 to March 4 holds a quarterly action “Hour of Integrity”, dedicated to the legendary attack pilot, Major General of Aviation of Kazakhstan, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Talgat Begeldinov.
Talgat Begeldinov at the age of 20 led more than twenty pilots older than himself and without any losses brought victory to the Soviet army. Becoming the first Kazakh to be twice awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, he proved that even at such a young age it is possible to perform great deeds.
Talgat Begeldinov is not only a symbol of courage, heroism and boundless love for the Motherland, but also a man who showed an example of morality and modesty, unwavering selflessness. His contemporaries said that in life Talgat Begeldinov was a bright, simple, purposeful person, always helped those who turned to him for help.
In peacetime, Talgat Begeldinov worked fruitfully in the fields of civil aviation and construction, becoming an example for others with his organizational and moral qualities.
Talgat Begeldinov lived a long and bright life. His life path is worthy of imitation for the younger generation, and the war hero himself has repeatedly met with young people and talked about his military exploits and the spirit of the Soviet people of that time.
The legendary pilot always said to the younger generation: “I never want there to be a war. But if such a burden falls on our heads, God forbid, then let you and our grandchildren, without yielding to us, hit the enemies! That is our instruction.”
The video lecture is broadcast on the regional TV channel, as well as posted on the Youtube channel, on the pages in social networks of the Department. This action was attended by students of 555 schools, 4 universities and 32 colleges of the region.
