Our debaters took part in the city tournament for the cup of the director of the youth resource center. A total of 8 teams took part in the tournament. The tournament was held among students of universities and colleges of the city of Temirtau. The debate club «Abadan» of the Karaganda Industrial University showed an excellent game and took 1st place. Club member Bakhyt Nuray won the title of «Best Speaker». We congratulate our active debaters and wish them new victories!

GRANT COMPETITION NAMED AFTER SHAKHMARDAN YESSENOV!

Program «ÓRLEÝ» (Orleu)

The Scientific and Educational Foundation named after Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov announces a competition for the provision of 10 grants for applicants from low-income families who have not received a state or any other grant to pay for higher (bachelor’s) education.

Participants of the program can become a graduate of a school / orphanage / youth home / college, planning to study at a Kazakhstani university to obtain specialties in natural sciences and technical areas. Applications from young people with special needs are also accepted.

To participate in the competition of the program «ÓRLEÝ» (Orleu) it is necessary in the period from April 25 to July 20, 2022 to submit an online application through the website of the foundation yessenovfoundation.org.

*Acceptance of applications will end on July 20, 2022 at 15:00 Nur-Sultan time (GMT+6).

The following must be attached to the application:

Mandatory documents for a parent or legal representative:

• A scanned copy of your IDENTITY Card
• scanned copies of documents confirming the social status of the Applicant:

1.  certificate of family composition;
2.  certificate of pension (by age, disability) if any;
3. certificate of benefit (for the loss of the breadwinner, for having many children, for care for the child, for unemployment, TSA, etc.) if available;
4.  certificate of the presence or absence of the object of entrepreneurship;
5.  an extract on pension contributions on the date of submission of the application from the legal representative or parents of the applicant;
6. information on the presence / absence of housing, car, subsidiary farm, etc.

Mandatory documents for the applicant:

• Scanned copy of identity card;
• Motivation letter containing:

1. information about oneself and one’s family; interests and hobbies, about one’s achievements;
2. information on the reasons for the need for financial assistance to pay for tuition;
3. why he chose this specialty for education;
4. plans for the next 10 years.

High school diploma / college diploma (applicants with grades below «good and excellent» are not considered), UNT certificate (for admission to universities);

• Certificate of disability if available;
• Certificate of a pupil of an orphanage or a youth home.

• Diplomas and diplomas for academic achievements – no more than 2 pcs.*;
• Photos 2021-2022:
