Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade holds the International scientific-practical conference in October 17, 2014 on the theme:

FORMATION PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF THE COMPETITIVE MODEL OF ECONOMY IN KAZAKHSTAN UNDER THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION

The Conference is dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the article “Fifth way” by N.A. Nazarbayev. During the conference the following directions of scientific research works will be discussed:

• Macroeconomic problems in forming the competitive model of economy in Kazakhstan and in the EEC countries: the objectives and its solutions;
• Modern politics of economic modeling and objectives of measuring the economic growth;
• Managing innovations in the Republic of Kazakhstan: the theory and practice;
• Innovative development and integration processes in the banking industry under the EEC;
• Priority directions in development of the modern financial system of Kazakhstan and the EEC countries;
• Recent economic trends of accounting, audit, statistics and assessment: problems and ways to address them;
• Current issues and trends in development of tourism and service in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the EEC countries.

The aim of the Conference: to define and justify the factors and trends of development and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, taking into account the current legal and economic status of the EEC. The key aspects for consideration: macroeconomic problems of socio-economic development of Kazakhstan and the EEC countries; a policy of economic modeling and measurement tasks of economic growth; the main directions of the theory and practice of innovation management; the further development ways of the banking industry, financial system, accounting, audit and assessment, as well as marketing, tourism and service.

The following working forms are planned in the conference: the scientific reports at the plenary and sectional sessions, presentations and panel sessions, roundtables.

The collection of materials will be published after the conference.

Terms of Participation

Conference language: Kazakh, Russian.

To participate in the international scientific-practical conference the participant is required to present to the Organizing Committee the following documents in paper and electronic versions (The deadline is October 1, 2014):

– Application for participation according to the attached form;

– Paper (maximum up to 8 pages) should comply with the following requirements given below; 

– Each reporter should turn in the proof of payment (the registration fee in the amount of 3000 tenge) which is paid to the current account of the university by requisites:

Requirements for formatting a report (an article)

The text of the report, with no more than 8 full pages of format A4 (210 x 297 mm), including figures and tables, must be typed in 14-point Times New Roman font using 1.0 spacing, margins on all sides 25 mm. The article should be accompanied by brief abstracts in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, depending on the language of the text. Formatting should meet the sample.

The order of formatting the materials:

Initials, surname, academic title and scientific degree of the author (s)

Full name of the organization, city

The title of publication: with capital letters, bold, centered

The main text after 1 interval, a summary in English. Kazakh and Russian languages

A certificate is provided on a separate page, indicating the author’s working place, position, scientific degree, academic title, telephone number and address for correspondence.

For the content of the article and the accuracy of the facts are responsible author.

The Organizing Committee has the right to decline the paper that does not meet the content and formatting requirements.

Charges related to the arrival to the conference and accommodation will be covered by the participants.
