Karaganda Industrial University signed memorandums of cooperation in the field of science and higher education with universities of Kyrgyzstan: Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.
Kyrgyz State University named after I.Arabaev is a state higher educational institution with the status of a legal entity and implementing educational programs in the field of higher, postgraduate, secondary vocational and additional general vocational education.
Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU) is the flagship of engineering and technical education in Kyrgyzstan. The University trains highly qualified specialists in various fields for our republic, the countries of the near and far abroad.
Within the framework of the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the implementation of the goals and objectives of the development plan, our university is actively working systematically to expand partnerships with international universities.
Within the framework of the signed memoranda, the main areas of cooperation are conducting scientific research, internships, joint participation and development of international cooperation programs in the field of science and innovative technologies, integration into the world scientific, educational and information systems, development of joint international scientific projects for participation in competitions of international foundations and organizations.
The memoranda concluded between our university and the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov, have become another important step in the international educational integration of KarIU.

The 2nd year student of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering Akmalova Ilyana became the winner of the international competition «Best Student», organized among the youth of the CIS. This competition was held by the international Center for Sports, Education and Science «Genius» and is aimed at supporting talented youth.

Ilana was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree and a badge «The best student of the year».

Congratulations to Ilana with a worthy victory and sincerely wish her health, good luck and further heights! May there be many more such awards and successful projects ahead!

The international scholarship «Bolashak»was established on November 5, 1993 by the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev.

The purpose of the program is to train personnel and specialists for priority sectors of the country’s economy. The program includes both academic studies (master’s degree, doctoral studies) and research and production internships in leading companies and universities of the world.

The head of the department of TMaT Nogaev Kairosh Abilovich became the owner of the international scholarship «Bolashak».

Section of physical education held competitions among students of KARIU, in honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan. Competitions on FP among girls were held in three disciplines : skipping rope 1st place took Absatar A., Jumping on the spot 1 place was taken Tasibek M. and Zhienbek S., step jumping 1st place Kundebay N. In the women’s FP competitions in three disciplines, the places were distributed as follows:: 1st place Absatar A., 2nd place Tasybek., 3 место Kural Sh.

In volleyball competitions among young men, the first place was taken by the team Alash (captain Rakhimbek S.), second place team Zhuala (team captain Abdray N.), third place TEK team (team captain Kayypov M.).
40 people participated in football competitions. The competitions were held according to the Olympic system. During the tournament, the teams took the following places: : 1st place-Ali and K-captain A. Zainaev, 2nd place Ajax-captain Serikbay O., 3rd place-Azamat1629-captainTorebaev A.

In basketball competitions, students competed in the discipline of street ball. During the games, the places were distributed as follows: 1st place – CARIOU team-1 (captain Kurmanbek R.), 2nd place – TEK team (captain Grishchenko D.), 3rd place-KarIU-2 (captain Murodov M). Winners, prize-winners and participants of the competition were awarded with diplomas, medals and sweet prizes. We congratulate all the participants and wish them sporting success!
