KIU ADMINISTRATION TAKES PART IN 2-DAY SEMINAR – ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY TRAINING.
On November 27 – 28, 2019, the administration of the Karaganda Industrial University represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G.A.Sivyakova, Dean of the School of Integrity J.K. Kapasheva, teacher of the Department of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering, Tuyskhan K., took an active part in the 2-day Seminar – training on anti-corruption policy.
The purpose of the meeting is to study the fundamental principles and ethical values adopted by the international scientific community, which underlie the research and educational activities of world universities; principles of justice and the value of quality education and research, which are the main priority in the activities of universities.
On November 27, on the basis of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University named after M.Narikbaev, a training was organized for the seminar participants on the topic: “Typical Algorithm for the Behavior of the Anti-Corruption Audit of a Higher Educational Institution”, organized by the Adalyk Alagy project office.
On November 28, within the framework of the seminar, on the basis of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an interactive platform was organized on the topics “Building integrity among faculty and students of higher educational institutions” and “How to eradicate corruption in a university”.
The welcoming speech belonged to Dusipov Erkin Shazhievich, First Vice-Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Rysbekova Zhanar Kasymbekovna, head of the Research Center for Combating Corruption at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Atymbaeva Aigul Sagyndykovna, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Academic Mobility under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, made a report on the path to academic honesty: from admission to graduation. After that, the seminar participants were involved in an interesting interactive discussion organized by Abakhanova Samal Sagandykovna – head of the educational policy sector of the Center for Academic Programs of the Presidential Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Further, the seminar participants listened to the reports of Aigul Sagadibekovna Solovieva, Daniyar Bauyrzhanovich Sabirbaev, Chairman of the Special Monitoring Group, Daniyar Bauyrzhanovich Sabirbaev, Director of the Integrity Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhuldyz Zhetpisbaevna Davletbaeva, Karim Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yaroveyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov Yarovyarov the study of anti-corruption issues of the Academy of Public Administration under Pr presidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are also accompanied by an interactive discussion platform.
In the course of the two-day training seminar, the participants of the event, in order to form an objective assessment of the level of corruption in universities, familiarized themselves with the self-diagnosis mechanism of anti-corruption audit for the timely prevention, detection and elimination of the consequences of corruption, based on management decisions.
