Our debaters took part in the city tournament for the cup of the director of the youth resource center. A total of 8 teams took part in the tournament. The tournament was held among students of universities and colleges of the city of Temirtau. The debate club «Abadan» of the Karaganda Industrial University showed an excellent game and took 1st place. Club member Bakhyt Nuray won the title of «Best Speaker». We congratulate our active debaters and wish them new victories!

GRANT COMPETITION NAMED AFTER SHAKHMARDAN YESSENOV!

Program «ÓRLEÝ» (Orleu)

The Scientific and Educational Foundation named after Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov announces a competition for the provision of 10 grants for applicants from low-income families who have not received a state or any other grant to pay for higher (bachelor’s) education.

Participants of the program can become a graduate of a school / orphanage / youth home / college, planning to study at a Kazakhstani university to obtain specialties in natural sciences and technical areas. Applications from young people with special needs are also accepted.

To participate in the competition of the program «ÓRLEÝ» (Orleu) it is necessary in the period from April 25 to July 20, 2022 to submit an online application through the website of the foundation yessenovfoundation.org.

*Acceptance of applications will end on July 20, 2022 at 15:00 Nur-Sultan time (GMT+6).

The following must be attached to the application:

Mandatory documents for a parent or legal representative:

• A scanned copy of your IDENTITY Card
• scanned copies of documents confirming the social status of the Applicant:

1.  certificate of family composition;
2.  certificate of pension (by age, disability) if any;
3. certificate of benefit (for the loss of the breadwinner, for having many children, for care for the child, for unemployment, TSA, etc.) if available;
4.  certificate of the presence or absence of the object of entrepreneurship;
5.  an extract on pension contributions on the date of submission of the application from the legal representative or parents of the applicant;
6. information on the presence / absence of housing, car, subsidiary farm, etc.

Mandatory documents for the applicant:

• Scanned copy of identity card;
• Motivation letter containing:

1. information about oneself and one’s family; interests and hobbies, about one’s achievements;
2. information on the reasons for the need for financial assistance to pay for tuition;
3. why he chose this specialty for education;
4. plans for the next 10 years.

High school diploma / college diploma (applicants with grades below «good and excellent» are not considered), UNT certificate (for admission to universities);

• Certificate of disability if available;
• Certificate of a pupil of an orphanage or a youth home.

A STUDENT OF KARAGANDA INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY BECAME THE WINNER OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “THE BEST STUDENT OF THE CIS-2022”

The competition is organized with the support of the international student association of the National Movement “Bobek”.
The winners of international, republican and regional competitions, conferences, projects, performing competitions took part in the competition; leaders and activists of public youth movements; members of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2nd year student Zhimahan Asel, studying in the specialty “Pharmaceutical Production Technology”, was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree, as well as the badge “Best Student of the CIS-2022”.
Asel submitted a scientific article “Cyberbullying and the problem of tolerance among young people” to the competition, which was recognized as the best. This article was written under the guidance of Soltan Magira Soltanovna, Master of Historical Sciences.
As the winner of the competition, Zhimakhan Assel entered the IV edition of the collection of books by talented youth “The Best Student of the CIS” and received a medal.

A forum “regional bodies of student self-government” was held at the Karaganda State University named after academician E. Buketov.

The self-government committees of all universities of the city of Karaganda and active students took part in the forum. During the forum, students took part in training games, took part in training seminars on the topics of oratory, the status of student self-government bodies.

The forum was attended by active students of the Karaganda Industrial University: President of the Student Parliament Tleubek Araylym and Member of Parliament Mendygaliyeva Uldana, Head of the student club “Sanaly Urpak” Kapanova Sattygul and member of the club Sarsenova Zhaylygul, Head of the Volunteer Center “Kamkor” Ibrayeva Adina and member of the club Ibrayeva Amina.

At the end of the forum, the floor was given to our student – Tleubek Araylym, who distinguished herself among the participants with her activity. All participants were awarded special certificates.

February 23, 2022 Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Business Turgumbayeva G.T. conducted an on-site lesson with students of the groups EFO-19, UiA-19, UiA-21s, MsP-21s at the Atameken Research and Production Enterprise.

In the Temirtau representative office of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” there is a branch of the department. Students learned about the number of entrepreneurs in Temirtau, about various measures to support entrepreneurs and about government business development programs. Also, students could get advice from specialists of the tax department on working with individuals and get acquainted with the list of services.

The same building houses the Republican Entrepreneur Support Center, which also provides free support to young businessmen.
