On April 2-4, 2021, members of the Abadan debate team took an active part in the open republican debate tournament “Tauelsiz eldin tiregi – bilimdi orpak”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The tournament was attended by 16 regions of our country (Shymkent, Nur-Sultan, Turkestan, Taraz, Aktobe, Karaganda, Temirtau, Kokshetau, Taldykorgan, Almaty, etc.). Our team was represented by the following students: Abdrakh Nazerke (TPP-19k), Sagat Merey (TPP-19k), Bederov Alikhan (TOMD-17k) and Seidakhmet Laura (TPP-19k). The event was organized by the Silkway International University.

The main goal of the tournament is to develop skills in mastering the strategy of critical thinking when making independent decisions and achieving the truth in the course of analyzing topical problems in the history of independent Kazakhstan, as well as creating a cultural and intellectual environment among student youth.

The tournament was held in two formats APF and LD.

All the players showed a decent game and gave a good assessment to the republican debate tournament. By tradition, all the children received certificates of participants in the debate club tournament and souvenirs.

The educational process at the Karaganda Industrial University is a synthesis of training, practical training and research work of students. And the passage of industrial practice is one of the main elements of the educational process, which is carried out with the aim of consolidating and expanding the knowledge gained by our students in the learning process, as well as acquiring the necessary practical skills to work in their specialty in production conditions and mastering advanced methods of technology and labor.

Students of educational programs of the Department of Technological Machines and Transport undergo compulsory practical training in various institutions in accordance with their specialization. The place of practical training is directly related to the topic of the diploma project.

Ometam and the fact that this kind of practice contributes to the development of students’ independent work. In the process of passing, students learn to independently select and systematize information within the framework of the tasks assigned to them; apply the knowledge gained in practice; study the technology and equipment used in a specific production; develop teamwork skills; exercise self-control.

In the current academic year, the workshops and sections of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC, Gordorservice-T LLP and others have been selected as the main practice bases, which have qualified personnel to manage professional practice and are equipped with modern technological and transport equipment. In practice, the student works under double guidance. The head of practice, appointed by the graduating department, helps the student to direct his activities in such a way that the implementation of the diploma project and the writing of an analytical report are ensured. The supervisor, appointed at the place of practice, organizes the student’s participation in the activities of the enterprise, assists him with consultations and in the collection of materials necessary for writing an analytical report. As a result of successful completion of industrial practice, students receive an invitation from the organization for employment.

On April 5, 2021, the curators of student groups of the Karaganda Industrial University held a single «Hour of Integrity» on the topic «Aiteke bi: sharpness of reasoning and acuteness of sayings»

Aiteke bi is a great thinker, an outstanding orator, a man of great mind, a statesman. His wise words were able to preserve the national unity of our people and became the spiritual heritage of the Great Steppe, left to his descendants in the form of wise sayings and words of edification. Aiteke bi’s wisdom speaks of his patriotism, hard work, honesty and devotion to his people. Aiteke bi has always adhered to the principles of justice, he was remembered as a sage who devoted his whole life to resolving disputes and promoting honesty among the people. May there be more of us, honest and good people!

The Hour of Integrity was developed by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which conducts an online «Hours of Integrity» on a weekly basis, based on the works and life stories of great personalities and young leaders of modern Kazakhstan in order to instill in the younger generation, the principles of integrity and patriotism. Indeed, as world experience shows, the most effective fight against corruption and its prevention is achieved where the role of society in regulation increases, transparency of decisions is ensured and a high anti-corruption culture is formed.

Karaganda Industrial University in conjunction with the Aktobe Regional University named after  K. Zhubanov held an online seminar “Applied digital ability – in the practice of the Karaganda Industrial University Google WorkSpece”.  The aim of the seminar was to exchange experience in the development of digital technologies.

The initiators and organizers of the event were the IT support sector of the Department of Digital Transformation of KarIU and the Faculty of Technology of ARSU.

The seminar was attended by teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students of our university, ARSU named after  K. Zhubanov, Rudny Industrial Institute, Karaganda Technical University.

During the seminar, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Metallurgy, Mining and Oil and Gas Business of ARSU, Master MG Sultanov spoke about the main problems of e-learning in general, ways of solving them and educational platforms for distance learning.  Attention was paid to the work of the Univer system used at the university, the Smart Arsu mobile application, the Moodle and Google Classroom platforms.

The head of the SIT sector of the department of digital transformation of KarIU T. Zhuniskaliev spoke about the Google WorkSpece program used at our university, introduced the seminar participants to the possibilities of this program.

The development of digital technologies is now a topical area.  Information systems have entered all spheres of life.  The development of digital technologies opens up a huge range of opportunities.  Progress in all branches of science and industry is proceeding at a tremendous speed, without ceasing to amaze and delight.  The essence of the phenomenon Digital technologies are a discrete system based on methods of encoding and transferring information, which makes it possible to perform many diverse tasks in the shortest possible time.  It is the speed and versatility of this scheme that made IT technologies so popular.

During the seminar, the participants actively asked questions, shared their knowledge and experience.
