On April 9, the Department of KRFL held an intellectual scientific quest game «Ford KarIU». First-year students from KarIU took part in the game. Two teams took part: «Zhalyn» and «Academicians». During the game, the guys showed ingenuity, intellectual abilities in such fields of science as economics, information technology, chemistry, physics, machine parts, metallurgy, foreign languages. As a result of a stubborn struggle, the Zhalyn team was a few seconds ahead of the Akademiki team and became the winner of this game. The organizers of the game express their deep gratitude to the departments of the university, which took part in the development of tasks for the game. The winners were awarded with diplomas and mementos. Participant certificates and sweet prizes were awarded to the «Akademiki» team.
By the end of 2020, all universities in Kazakhstan received a gift from the state of 100 titles of textbooks under the project «New Humanitarian Education. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language». Previously, this project had no analogues. These are, translated into the Kazakh language, the best textbooks in the world on philosophy, sociology, psychology, religious studies, management, economics, innovation, media, etc.All this educational literature is actively introduced into the educational process by the teachers of our Karaganda Industrial University.But, I would especially like to dwell on the textbooks on art, which are also included in this project. There are more than 15 of them. This is a unique literature on the history and philosophy of art, film studies, theater studies, musicology and television.It is clear that creative disciplines are not taught in technical universities. But, nevertheless, these books did not go unnoticed by the readers of the KarIU Scientific Library. The content of these books can be useful for students of all specialties. After all, art is a standard of beauty, a moral guideline and a way of self-expression. Communication with art encourages a person to create their own. Spiritual communication does not pass without a trace, since literature, especially literature on art, teaches us to live according to the laws of beauty, goodness and justice.
The task of higher education is not only to acquire professional skills and knowledge, but to develop the moral and spiritual growth of the younger generation. It is for this purpose that the staff of the Scientific Library made a special selection on art from the project «100 best textbooks in the Kazakh language» for students and teachers.
It is gratifying to note that this art literature did not go unnoticed. She grabs the attention of readers. Students are interested, take books home, share their impressions of what they have read with friends. It cannot be denied that in the third millennium a new generation of young people entered life with fundamentally different personality traits, value attitudes, and life guidelines. Nevertheless, it can be noted with confidence that modern students have not lost their craving for beauty, which means that they will become well-mannered, kind and decent people.
On April 8, 2021, within the framework of the month of science, a scientific seminar was held at the NJSC «Karaganda Industrial University» on the topic «Computer technologies of engineering analysis in the tasks of researching machines and equipment.» During the scientific seminar, the importance of using modern software for computer engineering analysis in scientific research was noted and examples of solving scientific problems in the field of researching work processes and the design of various machines and equipment, performed by teachers, undergraduates and students of the Department of Technological Machines and Transport, were presented. Head department, Ph.D. Nogaev K.A., 2nd year undergraduate Batyrbek A., 2nd year student Kuzmin V.S. presented the results of the study of dynamic effects on the traction element of the chain conveyor with the exclusion of the rigid connection of the drive unit with the foundation, the force interaction of the crushed material and the working element of the jaw crusher, the stress-strain state (SSS) of the jaw crusher frame, etc., obtained in the course of computer simulation using CAE systems. It is noted that the method of computer engineering analysis by means of Autodesk Inventor helps to reduce the cost of conducting research by complementing expensive physical models with a well-constructed computer model. The teaching staff of the university, students, undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as representatives of Pavlodar University named after Toraigyrov, Kazakh Agrarian Technical University, and others took part in the work of the seminar. Today, on April 8, 2021, within the framework of the KarIU Science Month events, a scientific seminar «On Small and Microbusiness» was held.
Discussed topic of the meeting: Entrepreneurial education as a driver of the labor market and sustainable economic growth.
This webinar was attended by students, undergraduates and university professors both online and in the conference room.

During the webinar, the participants got acquainted with the macroeconomic situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the contribution of small and micro-business entities to the country’s GDP, as well as indicators of the dynamics and structure of small medium-sized businesses in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Of particular interest were the master classes of success from entrepreneurs of the city of Temirtau. Businessmen answered all the questions: from both students and online participants, they shared their valuable lessons and advice. Orazuly Aziz, director of the branch of NPP «Atameken» in the city of Temirtau, who for several years has been maintaining close cooperation with our university, also told a lot of interesting things: what support can a young person, student, novice specialist at NPP «Atameken» get; what package of documents must be provided in order to receive a grant; how you can write and receive funding for your business plan; what areas of entrepreneurship are the most promising in the near future; what measures of state support exist for a novice businessman.
   
On April 8, 2021, a memorandum was signed between the Karaganda branch of the Republican State Enterprise «Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology» of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the NJSC «Karaganda Industrial University».
The participants of the event exchanged plans for long-term cooperation, outlined the main areas of further work related to:
– creation of an effective system of training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of technical regulation, standardization and metrology;
– development and implementation of educational programs in the field of technical regulation, standardization and metrology;
– organization and conduct of joint research and development work in order to improve and develop the system of technical regulation, standardization and metrology;
– organization of practical training for students on the educational program «Standardization, Metrology and Certification» on the basis of the KF RSE «KazStandard».
As part of the event, the guests visited the laboratory of engineering profile «Electron microscopy and nanotechnology», got acquainted with the material and technical equipment of the departments «Processing of metals by pressure», «Construction» and «Technological machines and transport» of the Karaganda Industrial University.
The result of this dialogue was the decision to develop a roadmap for further work, which will lead to more test cooperation and will make it possible to effectively use the production experience of specialists of the KF RSE «KazStandard» and the scientific potential of KarIU.
