The sphere of free time and leisure has always been an important part of the student lifestyle. From the ability to direct their activities during leisure hours to achieve the most important goals, the implementation of their life program, development and improvement of their essential forces largely depends on the social well-being of the student, his satisfaction with his free time. It should also be noted that leisure activities are the most important part of the educational work of the Karaganda Industrial University, which is a systemic planned character.

On April 12, 2021, a roundtable was held at the Karaganda Industrial University with the active participation of students, chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs of Epaneshnikova Anastasia: «Organization of entertainment and interactive leisure of students through the work of student youth clubs of KarIU»

The main purpose of the event is cultural and moral education of students through acquaintance with clubs and activities of the youth asset of KarIU, education of patriotism, participation of students in active participation in cultural and mass events of the university.

During the roundtable, YAC Chairman Anastasia Epanesnikova, through a presentation, introduced our university students to the activities of the Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy, the Youth Affairs Committee, and the results of the active participation of our students in events organized not only by our university, but also by the city, the republic and the region.

Recall that on the basis of our university there are – the debate club «Abadan», the university league KVN (Russian and Kazakh), the volunteer center «Kamkor» and more. Today, April 12, 2021, on the basis of the Scientific Library of the Karaganda Industrial University, in the reading room, the center «Parasat Zholy» (Road of Integrity) was solemnly opened.

«Parasat Zholy» is another project aimed at forming the principles of honesty, integrity, justice, as well as promoting the values of national culture and spirituality. The initiator of this project is the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Ministry of Culture and Sports «Parasat Zholy».

The event was attended by the Commissioner for Ethics and Anti-Corruption Risks – Vice-Rector of KarIU for Strategic Development Sivyakova G.A., Head of the Scientific Library S.A. Noskova, Librarian T.V. Shamaeva, Head of the Department of IKiSGD M.S. Soltan. and full-time university students.

Before the meeting, S.A. Noskova and Sivyakova G.A. congratulated all participants on the opening of a new center in the Scientific Library of the University. During the event, the speakers explained the importance of this project, expressing great hope that the opening of the center will become points of attraction for good ideas and initiatives for the benefit of the Republic of Kazakhstan and our university.

The head of the department, Magira Soltan, in her introductory lecture, spoke about the activities of the Parasat Zholy project, the importance of promoting and promoting the ideology of integrity, prevention of corruption in civil society, the formation of an anti-corruption culture, strengthening the principles of integrity and honesty among all citizens of the country.

The organizers of the meeting expressed their hope that such events will become a kind of factory for anti-corruption civil initiatives, a place for young people to meet with famous poets, writers, scientists, statesmen and public figures. Mutual understanding, respect and trust are the three pillars on which the Parasat Zholy project will be held

Science is one of the most important spheres of human life.  It is she who moves society forward, develops technologies, improves production and opens up new paths.  In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it.
