On April 22, 2021, students of educational programs of TPP&OIKS, PE&PB, PTKSDM, MHM, MCM, PGS and CTOV and the faculty of the Department of Economics and Business of Karaganda Industrial University took an active part in the teleconference-lectures of the scientific director of the P.P. Shirshov RAS, Academician RAS, D.Sc. Nigmatulin Robert Iskanderovich on the topic “Socio-economic problems of Russia”. The event was organized by the Interuniversity Academic Navigation Center for the specialties of mining and geological profile with the support of the Academy of Mining Sciences of the Russian Federation.
The teleconference was also attended by students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, representatives of the leading raw material companies in Russia, Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.
The format of the meeting was a structured communication process enriched with the knowledge of the meeting participants
It should be noted that one of the priority areas of activity of the Interuniversity Academic Navigation Center in the specialties of mining and geological profile in the framework of educational and educational activities is the implementation of the Project on the formation of a communication platform for the development of a continuous education system for children and youth in the field of geology and nature management, education of an ecological worldview, vocational guidance in the specialties of mining and geological and oil and gas profile. As part of the implementation of this direction, the Center regularly conducts online broadcasts of lectures, master classes on the premises of its own professional videoconferencing studio, equipped with the most modern equipment.

Opening remarks belonged to the President of the State Geological Museum of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Mining Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Malyshev Yuri Nikolaevich.
During the teleconference, the participants were able to get a lot of new, interesting and useful information for the future professional development.
After the end of the lecture, all the participants of the teleconference had a unique opportunity to ask the scientist the questions they were interested in and get comprehensive answers to them.
Summing up the results of the teleconference, all the participants in the meeting noted the usefulness and fruitfulness of such contacts aimed at expanding and strengthening the common information space.
Within the framework of the methodological week, the section of physical education of the Department of CI and SRS of the Karaganda Industrial University, held a sports and entertainment relay race among university students and students of the College of Fuel and Energy Complex at KarIU.
The program of events included: a tournament in table games (chess, checkers and togyz-kumalak) and a sports and entertainment relay race in nine stages.
The competitions were held in the sports building of KarIU in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
The first places were taken by: chess – Musaev Marat (head group EPO-20s) and Amirali Ermakhan (head group TEO&REO -19 TEC). Dautai Gulnur (group TPP – 20k) became the first in drafts and togyz-kumalaku.
Due to the quarantine, the sports and entertainment relay race was held in a reduced composition and without spectators.
The places were distributed as follows: 1st place – was taken by the FET&SU team, 2nd place – by the FM&M team, 3rd place – by the teams of FEIS and TEC. FROM
The competitions were interesting, fun and, most importantly, without injuries. Our students took an active part in all stages of the competition with pleasure, showed a team spirit and a fierce will to win.
On April 21, 2021, the XIII Republican Subject Olympiad was held, organized by the NJSC «Toraigyrov University» of the city of Pavlodar in the specialty 5В071300 «Transport, transport equipment and technologies» among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of events approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was held in an on-line format on the ZOOM platform among 3rd and 4th year students of full-time education in the discipline «Power plants of transport equipment». The team of the NJSC «Karaganda Industrial University» was represented by the students of the department «Technological machines and transport» Tavshanov I.S., Kabdolova M.A. and Kholmirzaev I., scientific supervisor, teacher Azimbaev K.A. According to the results of the Olympiad, student of the TTT&T-17k group Abdolova Meyramgul Abatkyzy received the 3rd place.
On April 21 of this year at the Karaganda Industrial University with the participation of the faculty and students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies, a small conference «Y. Altynsarin and modern education», dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great educator Ybray Altynsarin.
The topic of the conference was more relevant than ever, because in our time it is simply necessary to turn to the historical basis of education, because without understanding the historical pedagogical heritage, it is impossible to familiarize the younger generation with human ideals. The life and creative path of Ybray Altynsarin, individual pages of his biography, certain aspects of his philosophical and pedagogical views are of particular interest and contribute to the spiritual and moral development of the modern personality. The fate of Ybray Altynsarin is a moral example for all who lived and live after him. This is an example of serving your people. His pedagogical ideas are used by the best teachers of the region, his poems and prose are loved by the people.
During the conference, eleven articles were presented, the topics of which were devoted to the life of Y. Altynsarin, his works, works and the opening of a network of Russian-Kazakh schools.
At the end of the event, students read by heart the famous poems and works of Y. Altynsarin.
Of the articles presented at the conference, articles by Aydar Ulmeken (group PI-20k-2) and article by Artem Shishkin (group VTiPO-18) were awarded with diplomas.
Today, in its development, the Independent and Sovereign Republic of Kazakhstan is entering a new level of scientific, technical, informational, political, environmental and spiritual support. These changes in the life of our country require a revision of the state of education, its quality, and modern education is a worthy continuation of the ideas of Y. Altynsarin, it is not for nothing that he is called the teacher of the XXI century.
On April 21, 2021, the «Best Scientific and Innovative Idea» competition was held at the Karaganda Industrial University for students, undergraduates, young scientists and students of educational institutions of general, secondary vocational, technical and vocational, higher and postgraduate education.
The competition was aimed at enhancing scientific and technical creativity and professional independence of youth, contributing to improving the quality among students, undergraduates and young scientists for the development of scientific and innovative ideas, with the involvement of industrial enterprises-strategic partners of the university.
This event was attended by students and undergraduates of the university.
Scientific works on the following topics were accepted for the competition:
– Innovations in the development of metallurgy and metallurgy; – Digitalization, energy of the future and green economy; – Mechanical engineering and transport; – Modern physical and mathematical sciences; – Architecture and construction; – Rukhani zhagyru: modernization of public consciousness; – Business development in Kazakhstan.
6 works were presented for participation. The examination of innovative ideas was carried out by the Competition Commission, approved by the order of the acting Chairman of the Board – Rector of KarIU.
Based on the results of the work of the participants of the competition, the competition committee allocated the places as follows:
1st place – master student of the EE-20np group Esimkhanova Aydin Muratkyzy.
2nd place – student of group TOP-19 Kuzmin Viktor Sergeevich.
3rd place – Master’s student of the EB-19np group Kan Elena Vladimirovna.
The participants of the competition noted the importance of the event, as it contributed to the formation of critical thinking and skills of independent search for solutions among young people.
