Karaganda industrial University tirelessly takes care of the life and healthy lifestyle of students and employees, improving social and living conditions. The University has two well-appointed hostels with the redevelopment of part of the room under a small-family apartment for employees, students and family of students.

The total area of the dormitories is 4892 sq. m. students live in rooms for 2-3 people. The University strives to provide places in dormitories for all those in need. The entrance to the KarIU dormitories is open to students until 23: 00. The economic part of the hostel is managed by the commandant of the hostel. It is engaged in the delivery of furniture and inventory, provides the necessary repairs of residential premises. All dormitories are equipped with a modern video surveillance system, security and automatic fire alarm. Regular fire safety exercises are held with students.

The procedure for the conclusion of contracts for the provision of hostel students.

The contract for providing a hostel to students is concluded in accordance with the Standard of the state service «providing a hostel to students in higher educational institutions».

List of documents required for the provision of public services:

1. Application for a place in the hostel in the form addressed to the rector.
2. a Copy of the identity card.

The package of documents is accepted and registered by the employee of the service Center (SSC) of students. The service recipient (trainee) is issued a receipt for accepting the package of documents. The employee of the SSC submits a package of documents for consideration by the Commission on the allocation of places in the hostel. Within one working day, the Commission reviews the package of documents and after making a positive decision, the service recipient is issued a referral for settlement.

The state service is provided free of charge. The service provider’s work schedule is from Monday to Friday inclusive, except for weekends and holidays, in accordance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the established work schedule of the service provider from 9.00 to 18.30 hours, with a lunch break from 13.00 to 14.30 hours. Pre-registration and accelerated service of the service recipient are not provided.

Termination of previously concluded agreements for the provision of dormitories to students is made in accordance with the Additional agreement on termination.
