Today, on November 25, on the platform of the Karaganda Industrial University, a meeting of first-year students with a representative of the center of the department of the Karaganda Regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS NARROWLY in the city of Temirtau took place.

AIDS is an incurable disease from which no one can be insured. But do not forget that knowledge and adherence to a healthy lifestyle significantly reduces the risk of infection.

A lecture for university students was given by the epidemiologist of the AIDS Center Baymurzina Aizhan Gadylbekovna. In addition to special medical information about the nature and symptoms of the disease, the dangers and ways of contracting AIDS, the doctor gave statistics of diseases in the city of Temirtau, told in detail where you can get a free examination and answered all the questions of students. The lecturer paid special attention to the fact that an HIV-infected person, subject to certain rules, does not carry any danger to the people around him.

The main objective of the event was to attract the attention of students to the problem of HIV/AIDS, changing their attitude to this problem and forming a value attitude to their health.

The relevance of the HIV problem/AIDS lies in the fact that the spread of this epidemic affects all spheres of society and concerns each of us. After all, in our time, AIDS is a global problem of all mankind.
