Labor and economic education assumes formation at youth of skills in self-service, the conscientious, responsible and creative attitude to different types of work, ability to work in collective, to mobilize necessary resources, correctly estimate consequences of the actions, cultivates the relation to work as the prime vital necessity, supreme value and main way of achievement of recognition and success. Through labor education young people join the best traditions and values of professional communities, commitment to norms of professional ethics and corporate culture.

Understanding importance of labor education, and also need of protection of socially vulnerable segments of the population whom students are, at university the summer labor semester will annually be organized: student’s construction groups, repair and construction groups are created.

Students and pupils of the college of 1-3 courses are involved in work on repair of educational buildings, improvement of the territory of university, nearby territories.

Fighters of student’s construction groups annually work at objects of JSC ArselorMittal Temirtau, city objects of social appointment. Following the results of work in a summer labor semester students of KSIU take part in city and regional meetings of student’s construction groups, taking prizes in the nominations “The Best Fighter of student’s construction groups”, “The Best Commander of student’s construction groups”.
