INFACON-14 held in Ukraine (Kiev 2015) on the basis of the President-hotel, 12 Hospitalna str., in June 1-5, 2015.

Authors who would like to attend the Congress with a paper should submit abstract before the extended deadline. We invite authors wishing to present papers at INFACON XIV to submit Titles and Abstracts not exceed 300 words, in English, using the e-mail: infacon14@gmail.com. June 1-5 2015, – INFACON XIV Congress

Papers that are accepted by the Congress will be subject to peer review and the selection criteria include relevance to the Congress themes, accuracy and originality of ideas, significance of the contribution and quality of the paper. All accepted papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings and presented at the Congress. The speaker of the paper is required to attend the Congress and should pay the registration fee.

THE MAIN TOPICS DIRECTIONS OF INFACON-14 IN UKRAINE, THE FOLLOWING:

— theory and practice of Ferroalloy production (by manganese, CR, siliceous and other types of ferroalloys);

— improvement of the equipment for ferroalloys production (including furnaces DC, gas purification and other);

— ecology and environmental protection, recycling and waste production, including Ferroalloy slag;

— main ways of energy saving and energy efficiency of Ferroalloy production;

— raw materials Ferroalloy production (ores, concentrates, agglomerates, reducers and other, methods of their preparation;

— ferroalloys quality, production prospects, based on the steel industry requirements.
